• Seller/shop details: shop name, owner name, address, city, phone number, business details, verification status, product listings, and uploaded media.
• Product and post data: images, videos, product name, dress code, category, colour, size, price, stock status, description, and seller location.
• Order details: cart items, wishlist items, checkout address, phone number, order status, payment method, delivery details, and transaction references when payments are enabled.
• Chat and message data: messages between users and sellers, product references shared in chats, and support messages.
• Location/address data: city, address, pincode, and approximate or precise location when you choose auto-detect location for nearby products or delivery address filling.
• Device and usage data: app activity, pages viewed, crash logs, device type, browser type, and basic analytics used to improve the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage user, seller, and admin accounts.
• Show products, posts, categories, seller profiles, nearby shops, stories, and recommendations.
• Process carts, wishlists, checkout, orders, seller notifications, and approval requests.
• Enable user-seller chat about products and orders.
• Support AI-powered search, style suggestions, similar product discovery, and filtered shopping experiences.
• Detect fraud, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and maintain app security.
• Improve app performance, design, product ranking, and seller tools.
• Contact you about account activity, seller approval, orders, support, or important policy updates.

3. Images, Videos, and Cloud Uploads

Sellers may upload product photos, post images, videos, shop logos, story images, and highlight media. These files may be stored or delivered using third-party media services such as Cloudinary. Uploaded media may be visible to users if published by the seller or approved for display.

Do not upload images, videos, or documents that you do not have permission to use.

4. Firebase, Cloudinary, and Service Providers

SCart may use services such as Firebase for authentication, database, app data, notifications, and backend features, and Cloudinary for image/video upload and delivery. These providers may process data only to help us provide app functionality, storage, security, and performance.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only when needed:

• With sellers, when a user places an order or starts a product-related chat.
• With users, when seller profile, product, post, story, or shop information is public in the app.
• With service providers who help operate authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, media delivery, and payments.
• With legal authorities if required by law, fraud prevention, safety, or valid legal process.

6. Payments

Online payments may be added later. When payment features are enabled, payment details may be processed by trusted payment providers. SCart should not store full card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV, or sensitive payment credentials.

7. Location and Address Use

Location access is optional and used to detect nearby products, nearby sellers, and help fill delivery addresses. You can deny location permission and enter your address manually. You can also change location permissions from your device settings.

8. Cookies and Website Analytics

The SCart website may use basic cookies, local storage, or analytics tools to understand page performance, improve user experience, and measure interest in app downloads or seller registration.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including authenticated access, role-based app flows, secure cloud providers, and restricted admin controls. No internet service is completely risk-free, so users should protect their passwords and devices.

10. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide SCart services, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain order records. Users and sellers may request correction or deletion where applicable.

11. Your Choices and Rights

You may request to:

• Access your account information.
• Correct inaccurate profile, seller, or address details.
• Delete your account where deletion is legally and technically possible.
• Withdraw optional permissions such as location access.
• Contact support for privacy or data questions.

12. Children

SCart is intended for general shopping use and is not designed for children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, we may remove that information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make important changes, we will update the effective date and may notify users through the app, website, or email.
